Beretta may have records that make it possible to determine the exact date of manufacture from the serial number, but as far as I know that information is not available to the public. If they do have such records, you would have to contact them, give them the serial number, and ask them to look it up. I don't know whether they will do that or not. Beretta Web - Beretta Model 1934 was issued to the Italian army beginning in 1934. The serial numbers seem to start from 400.000, and one example from 1933 of the civilian model which we have examined was numbered just under 402.000, while another example from 1934 was numbered above 406.000. Various experiments were carried out. I have two Beretta shotguns, one of the serial numbers begins with the letter M and ends with the letter E, the other begins with N and ends with E, am I right to assume that the first one was made in 1984 and the other in 1985?
