It is a requirement at all ABF events to have a fully completed ABF Convention Card for each of your opponents at the table.

How to complete an ABF System Card

ABF System Classification

Systems must be classified as either Green Blue, Red or Yellow.

Green – Natural
Blue – Strong Club systems
Red – Artificial systems
Yellow – Highly unusual systems (HUM)

If using a brown sticker convention, you must also show that on your card.

To correctly colour code your system card, please refer to the ABF System Regulations located on the ABF Rules and Regulations page

Convention Card Editor

The Convention Card Editor (CCE) is a computer program - utility which allows the completion of an official WBF Convention Card with the use of a Personal Computer. A Guide to Completion and other useful references are included. The CCE is offered by the World Bridge Federation as a free service to its members. It can be downloaded, copied and used without charge as often as required.

It is very important that you install the correct version, depending on your operating system (Windows 7, Vista, XP or older Windows versions). If you overwrite an older version you may have problems displaying or printing the symbols. If that happens you must uninstall the old version and delete the directory (usually C:/Program Files/ASE computing) completely before reinstalling.
